Research is how I deepen my understanding of the complex challenges facing organisations, professionals and society. My work explores how trust, information, leadership and innovation influence decision-making, with the aim of producing knowledge that is both academically rigorous and practically relevant.
WHY I RESEARCH
Research begins with curiosity before certainty.
I am interested in understanding how people make decisions in environments characterised by uncertainty, incomplete information and rapidly evolving technologies. My goal is not simply to generate knowledge, but to produce insights that improve professional practice, inform education and contribute meaningfully to society.

CURRENT DOCTORAL RESEARCH
My current DBA research at Glasgow Caledonian University examines how informational asymmetry, trust and verification mechanisms influence consumer decision quality. While situated within digitally mediated non-surgical aesthetics, the research contributes to wider understanding of decision-making in experience- and credence-based markets.
BEYOND THE DOCTORATE
Beyond my doctoral research, I intend to explore broader questions relating to leadership, digital trust, responsible innovation and business education. I am particularly interested in translating research into practical insight that informs organisations, educators and policymakers.
RESEARCH IN PRACTICE
My professional practice continually informs my research, while my research shapes the way I approach entrepreneurship, education and strategic advisory work. This reciprocal relationship enables ideas to be tested, refined and translated into practical outcomes.
